Tsambika Monastery is a Byzantine Monastery. In order to enter the monastery the visitors need to walk through a large number of stairs. This is one of the most known elements about this church. It has been said that this trial of climbing more than 300 steps is used as a blessing for a potential personal problem.

Except from the religious part reaching the top offers an incredible view. Close to this area, is the Tsambika beach. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Rhodes. A long sand and dozens beach that is enriched will colorful flags of the different private stands of water sports and many eating establishments. There is also a bus stop with frequent bus’s routes. Even though the area is not full of markets, it is still crowed because of the visitors.
