In front of the modern tourism resort area on the west coast of Rhodes island lies the Ixia beach. It is located about 4 kilometers from the Rhodes town.

The beach is organised by many different owners and some parts are used exclusively for hotel guests only. The surrounding area is consisted of many hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, bar and mini market options.
