Pefkos (or Pefki):
Pefkos is a convenient base for excursions to the traditional inland villages of the south and to the forested mountains of the center of the island. Both in Pefkos and in Lindos, all services and facilities that you could ask for in your holiday time are at hand: Restaurants, ATMs, shops and travel agencies can be found everywhere while entertainment options include water sports, boat trips to the nearby islands and to Turkey, glass-bottom-boat cruises, cafe, bars, clubs, and much more.
Lardos:
The neighboring village of Lardos is located on the beautiful coast of South Rhodes, and has numerous beaches and coves with crystal-clear waters. Towards the north are the equally beautiful, popular, but not overcrowded, beaches of the eastern coast, Vliha, Kalathos, Agathi, Stegna, Tsambika and Afandou and the big tourist resorts near Rhodes Town. A 20mins drive can take you to the Afandou Golf Course.
Lindos village:
Lindos, with its medieval alleys, its ancient monuments and historic houses is considered by many as the most beautiful village of Rhodes. Its imposing castle, dramatically build on top of a steep cliff overlooking the village, is the more famous landmark. Inside the walls, the ancient temple of Athena and other important monuments speak of an age of prosperity, when Lindos was one of the leading shipping ports of the ancient world. Spectacular cliffs give their place to scenic sandy coves, while the views towards the small lagoon of St Paul (Agios Paulos) are simply magnificent.
Kalathos:
Kalathos village has many shops, restaurants, fish taverns, kebab shop, bars etc. The beach of Kalathos is long, clear and beautiful. The small and traditional village has its unique beauty.
